Congratulations, on taking the first step toward unleashing your child's full academic potential. In my 25+ years of experience as a certified early Childhood educator, I have developed a teaching and tutoring method that delivers real results.
With this program, your child can not only succeed at literacy, but also enjoy the process and learn to love reading along the way. With a foundational love of reading, your child will embark on a lifetime learning adventure which can take them anywhere they desire to go in life.
Our unique skill set has empowered us to develop customized learning plans for every child, including those that have previously struggled with reading or have been discouraged. We also have specialized resources available for students with Dyslexia, or ADHD,

Many parents believe that reading should be a natural progression, similar to the progression from a baby cooing to talking. However, reading is a complex task that we may take for granted as adults. Learning to read includes multiple functions being performed simultaneously such as; identifying symbols, phonetic sounds, special blends, etc. Additionally, it requires attaching meaning to these complex characters. For Children to succeed in this process they need time, repetition and specific instruction. A skilled instructor can help them identify their strengths and weaknesses, and customize a learning plan to meet them where they are developmentally and help them succeed. This is why Sunrise Reading was created because I have a passion for helping kids reach their full academic potential.
